3. Purposes and legal bases
- Answering questions and taking steps at your request before a purchase.
- Processing, delivering and supporting an order to fulfil the contract.
- Complying with tax, administrative, product safety and other legal obligations.
- Securing and improving the store and resolving faults on the basis of legitimate interests, unless your rights take precedence.
- Optional analytics or marketing only with consent where legally required.
You can withdraw consent at any time. This does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing.
4. Who do we share data with?
We share only the data needed by service providers for hosting, payments, email, customer service, administration and delivery. We may also share data when required by law, to protect rights or as part of a lawful business transfer. We do not sell personal data.
5. Transfers outside the EEA
Where a service provider processes personal data outside the European Economic Area, we use an appropriate legal safeguard where needed, such as an adequacy decision or approved standard contractual clauses.
6. Retention periods
- Order, invoice and transaction data: normally 7 years to meet Dutch tax and administrative obligations.
- Service, return and warranty correspondence: up to 3 years after closure, or longer where required for a legal claim.
- Security and technical logs: normally no more than 12 months, unless an incident investigation requires longer retention.
- Marketing consent and opt-outs: until consent is withdrawn, followed by a minimal record to honour the opt-out.
7. Your privacy rights
Depending on the circumstances, you have rights of access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. Send your request to support@kampland.store. We may ask for information to verify your identity and normally respond within one month. You may also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
8. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encrypted connections and access controls. No online system is completely secure. If a data breach must be reported, we inform the competent authority and affected individuals as required by law.
9. Children and changes
The store is not aimed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data without appropriate consent. We may update this policy when our services, providers or legal obligations change. The date at the top identifies the latest version.
